Madison DaBell is a junior at Brigham Young University-Idaho studying communications with an emphasis in public relations. She was born in Provo, UT and lived there until she moved to Nashville, TN. She was always encouraged by her parents to be creative and aspire to achieve her dreams, a thought she held onto well into college. She attended BYU Provo where she studied Political Science.
Growing up, she always had an interest in politics, especially the Constitution. She enjoyed her American History classes and would read extra articles and books on the side to continue learning. During her freshman year at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, she had the opportunity to work with Dr. David Magleby and conduct an exit poll during the November 2016 presidential election.
After her first year of college, she served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Croatia and Serbia. That opportunity taught her many things about herself and helped her develop skills that she continues to use. This last fall, Madison chose to transfer to BYU-Idaho to pursue her degree in Communications.
Madison hopes to combine her interests of politics and communications in the professional field after she graduates.
