01.29.19: Informational Meeting for May 2019 Israel Trip

The Columbus Center for Constitutional Studies will be hosting another trip to Israel this coming May, from the 6th to the 20th.

Join with us as Jacob Householder, Director of International Outreach for the Columbus Center, shares information and stories about the organization’s most recent trip to Israel, as well as how students and members of the community can participate. The information session will cover the three primary objectives of the Columbus Center’s trips to the Middle East:

  • Directing and engaging in the Beit Lehi excavation
  • Mediating the conflict and tensions between the Jews, Palestinians, Druz, and other communities
  • Teaching principles of the Constitution in the Middle East

In addition to discussing these three objectives, attendees will be briefed on the geography of the region, the political climate in Israel, the logistics of international travel, and how to participate in and prepare for this or future trips. The formal presentation will last for 60 minutes followed by Q&A beginning at 8:00pm.

We hope to see you there!
