Brennen Hawkes was born and raised in the Kaysville, Utah area, and is the youngest of 6 children. He was married to the love of his life, Valéria Hawkes, in September 2017. They are happily finishing up their last semesters at BYU – Idaho this semester. Brennen is a CIT major who enjoys solving problems through the use of computers. He will start his career in the Business Intelligence field, but is sure that his career course will change as new technologies emerge.

Brennen enjoys going on dates with his wife, snowboarding, playing the guitar, and listening to music. He values hard work and strongly believes in the value of self-reliance. He served a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Nevada Reno mission. From this experience, one of the many things he learned was the importance of service.

Brennen Hawkes grew up in a conservative household, with his father being especially interested and involved in politics. Brennen did not develop an interest in politics until the last couple of years. He realized that he needed to be more involved and informed about the political landscape if he were to defend his political beliefs. He started reading forums, listening to podcasts, and having more involved political discussions with those around him. He strongly supports the Constitution, and wants to use his skills to defend it.
