On January 24th, Representative Christy Zito (R-Hammett) introduced House Bill 358 (H0358) into the House State Affairs Committee. This bill exempts Idaho from the Daylight Saving Time section of federal law. There is evidence that health is negatively impacted, sometimes severely, by Daylight Saving Time and this bill seeks to protect the health of citizens in our state by ending DST in Idaho.
