Administrative Rules Deadline: July 3, 2019
Concerned about immunization requirements?
Want to do something about Common Core in Idaho?
Are you concerned about Idaho’s water regulations?
This is your chance to do something about it!
The Idaho Administrative Code, more than 8,200 pages of rules, was not renewed during the 2019 legislative session. Now, the code has expired and Idaho residents have a unique opportunity to petition for a public hearing in their counties to discuss any section of the code!
To get involved, all you need to do is gather twenty-five signatures in your county to petition for a hearing on a section of the code. The deadline for submitting signatures is Wednesday, July 3rd. Instructions on how and where to submit petitions are included on each of the following sample documents (PFD files):
- Petition – State Board of Education (common core, charter schools)
- Petition – Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (abortion, immunizations, CPS)
- Petition – Idaho Department of Lands (dredging, mining)
- Petition – Idaho Department of Water Resources (water regulations, fishing)
